Why You Should Complete an LLC Online Application

There are a number of different ways in which you can legally structure a business. For some endeavors, a corporation makes the most sense. Licensed professionals, such as doctors or lawyers, will often opt to form Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs). The most common pathway, however, is the Limited Liability Company, and this structure is especially popular for good reason.

With an LLC, you will receive “limited liability” protection. This means you and the LLC’s other members can shield your personal assets from legal judgments made against the business. To put it another way, if your business goes bankrupt, you will not need to worry about losing your home as a result. LLCs are also fairly easy to set up and maintain, and they enjoy “flow-through” status with the IRS. That essentially means your business’s profits are not taxed until they pass through to the members of the LLC, who in turn pay taxes on their salaries.
